Terms of use
The ground rules between you and SprintMob when you use Coinscious. We kept them short and plain, but every sentence counts. If this English version and the French one ever differ, the French one governs.

What these terms cover
These terms govern your use of the Coinscious app on iOS and Android, the MAX subscription and the purchases offered in the app. They are also the app's end user licence agreement.
By creating an account or using the app, you accept these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Who publishes Coinscious
Coinscious is published by SPRINTMOB, a French SASU registered with the Créteil trade register under number 949 720 544, with its registered office at 21 rue André Bollier, 94100 Saint-Maur-des-Fossés, France. Its full details are in the legal notice.
To reach us: contact@coinscious.app.
Minimum age
You must be at least 15 years old to use Coinscious. By creating an account, you confirm that you are.
Your account
You sign up with Apple, Google or your email address. Sign-in is handled by our provider, Clerk.
You are responsible for your account and for what happens on it. Keep control of your email address and your Apple or Google credentials, and write to contact@coinscious.app if you think someone else is using your account.
You can delete your account at any time from Settings in the app. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone: your progress, your coins and your subscription status in the app are gone.
Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription bought through the App Store or Google Play. To stop being charged, cancel it in your Apple or Google account settings.
Education, not advice
Coinscious teaches general personal-finance literacy. Nothing in the app is personalised investment, tax, legal or financial advice, or a recommendation to buy or sell anything.
SprintMob is not a registered financial investment adviser (CIF under French law) and carries out no regulated financial activity. Your decisions are yours. When the stakes are high, talk to a professional.
No outcome is guaranteed. The content may contain mistakes: if you spot one, tell us at contact@coinscious.app and we will fix it.
Coins, energy and other virtual items
Coins, energy, streaks, streak freezes, XP, quests and rewards are game items. They have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for money, transferred or sold, and are not refundable, subject to Apple's and Google's refund policies.
We may adjust them, for example to fix a bug or stop abuse. They disappear with your account.
The MAX subscription
MAX is a monthly or yearly subscription, sold and billed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) through their in-app purchase systems. Its price, taxes included, is shown in the app before you buy.
It renews automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. You manage and cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account settings.
The yearly plan may include a 7-day free trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the subscription starts and the first payment is taken.
Price changes are notified to you under your store's rules. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google, under their own policies.
Coin packs
Coin packs are one-time in-app purchases of virtual coins. They are billed by Apple or Google, and refunds follow the same rules as for MAX.
Right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer in the European Union, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase made at a distance.
MAX and coin packs are digital content supplied immediately. By buying them and starting to use them, you expressly ask for immediate performance and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal (article L221-28, 13° of the French Consumer Code). Apple's and Google's refund policies still apply.
Referrals
When a friend you invited meets the conditions shown in the app, the rewards described there are granted. They have no monetary value.
Fake accounts, referring yourself or any other workaround: rewards earned that way are taken back.
Acceptable use
You agree not to decompile or reverse engineer the app except where the law allows it, not to use it through automated means (bots, scripts), not to cheat or exploit bugs, not to harm the service or other users, and not to use it in a way that breaks the law or infringes anyone's rights.
Breaking these rules can lead to your account being suspended or deleted.
Intellectual property and licence
The app, its content, the Penny mascot and the Coinscious brand belong to SprintMob or its licensors.
SprintMob grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial use, in line with the App Store or Google Play usage rules. Anything not expressly granted is reserved.
Availability and changes
The app is provided as is. It evolves: features may appear, change or go away, and the service may be interrupted, for maintenance among other reasons.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, SprintMob is not liable for decisions you make based on the app's educational content.
Nothing in these terms limits the rights the law gives you as a consumer, including the legal guarantee of conformity for digital content and services (articles L224-25-1 and following of the French Consumer Code), or any liability that cannot legally be limited.
Personal data
What data the app processes, why, for how long and your rights over it are set out in the privacy policy.
App Store and Google Play
If you downloaded Coinscious from the App Store, these terms are between you and SprintMob, not Apple. SprintMob, not Apple, is solely responsible for the app and its content.
Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for the app.
If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any. To the extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the app.
SprintMob, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims relating to the app or your use of it, including product liability claims, claims that the app fails to meet a legal or regulatory requirement, and consumer protection claims, as well as any third-party claim that the app infringes their intellectual property rights.
You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a US government embargo or designated by the US government as a terrorist-supporting country, and that you are not on any US government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and, once you accept them, have the right to enforce them against you.
If you downloaded the app from Google Play, the Google Play terms of service also apply.
Changes to these terms
These terms may change. For a material change, we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect.
Using the app after that date means you accept the new terms. If you disagree, you can delete your account at any time.
Ending the relationship
You can stop using Coinscious whenever you like and delete your account from Settings in the app.
SprintMob may suspend or delete your account for a serious breach of these terms.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by French law. If you live in another EU country, you keep the protection of that country's mandatory rules.
If something goes wrong, write to us first at contact@coinscious.app: we will look for a fix with you.
If the disagreement persists, you can turn, free of charge, to SprintMob's consumer mediator: Avenir Conso, 197 boulevard Saint-Germain, 75007 Paris, France, by filing a request through their mediation form.
Failing an amicable settlement, the dispute goes to the competent court under the jurisdiction rules that apply to consumers.
